Background
Founded
by former Fluke engineers, Signametrics has focuses on “Plug-in”
test and measurement devices supporting PC based test systems, and
automated testing at large.
Signametrics pioneered the plug-in Digital Multimeter category,
and keeps on leading in this market with new features, and enhanced
accuracy. Signametrics current products are dedicated to PCI, PXI,
and VXI test and measurement systems. Signametrics’ hardware
modules are complemented by “Front-panel” software and
DLLs to ensure smooth software installation and integration.
As Signametrics’ Digital Multimeter accuracy improved, the
need for high precision switching modules (also called scanners
or multiplexers) became apparent. Signametrics’ switching
modules are the only fully isolated, extremely low EMF, switching
modules available to this date.
By committing to precision by design, choice of components and attention
to detail, Signametrics succeeded in creating DMMs and switching
modules that are able to measure very low voltage and resistance.
Signametrics’ focus on precision, long standing reputation
for uncompromising reliability, and excellent technical support
has rewarded it with a very loyal customer base.
Signametrics was founded in 1990 by former Fluke engineers, is a
privately held company with offices in Seattle Washington, USA.

Tee Sheffer, President
and CEO
Tee, a co-founder of Signametrics, had a twenty-year long career
at Fluke where he held various positions in engineering and management
with focus on high precision measurements. Tee spent most of his
career in this field and holds a dozen Test and Measurement patents.
Tee holds a M.Sc. in Electrical engineering from the University
of Washington.
Paul Lantz, VP Engineering
Paul has been involved with test and measurement since 1972 and
holds three T&M related patents. Paul’s professional experience
includes a long cadence at Fluke where he held a number of engineering
positions, including Engineering Section Manager and Principal Engineer.
Paul holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from New York University.
Michal Kaufmann, Ph. D. VP Marketing and
CFO
Michal has been involved with Signametrics in different capacities
since its inception. Michal is currently leading the Marketing department.
Michal is also responsible to all day-to-day activity in Signametrics
focusing on Finance and Administration. Michal holds an Ed.D from
the University of Washington.
